Prime Day PS5 Sale: Where to Find Discounts and How to Pay from Russia
Prime Day 2026 ends on October 7, but PS5, game, and accessory deals are still available. Here's what's on offer, which cards are accepted, and how to pay with a virtual card.
The Prime Day 2026 sale, tied to Amazon's October event, wraps up today, October 7. Official discounts on the PlayStation 5 console, games, and accessories are valid until midnight Pacific Time, but many offers are already selling out. If you were planning to buy a PS5 or expand your game library, now is one of the last chances this season.
What's on offer during the sale
As part of Prime Day 2026, Amazon and partners are cutting prices on PS5 consoles (both disc and digital editions), DualSense controllers, headsets, charging stations, and popular PlayStation games. Exact discount percentages and prices vary by region and seller, so check the current price on the product page before buying. Official promotions end at midnight, but some discounts may last longer — keep an eye on them.
Why paying from Russia can be a problem
Amazon does not accept cards issued by Russian banks and does not ship directly to Russia. However, you can place an order to a forwarding address (a warehouse in the US or Europe) and pay for the purchase with a virtual card from a foreign issuer. Virtual cards issued abroad are accepted on Amazon just like regular Visa or Mastercard.
How to pay with a virtual card
- Choose the item on Amazon (or another participating site) and add it to your cart.
- Enter the shipping address — if direct shipping to Russia is unavailable, use a forwarding warehouse address in the US or Europe.
- At checkout, select "Add a new card" and enter the virtual card details: number, expiry date, CVV, and cardholder name (in Latin characters as shown on the card).
- Make sure you have enough funds — the purchase amount plus any currency conversion fee (if the card is in USD or EUR and the price is in another currency).
- Confirm the order. If the payment fails, check the card limits and the accuracy of the entered data.
What to do if the card is declined
Sometimes Amazon may decline a payment due to a mismatch in the billing address or suspicious activity. In that case, try using the forwarding warehouse address as your billing address if your card issuer allows it. Also make sure online payments are enabled on the card and a sufficient limit is set. If the problem persists, contact the support of the service that issued your virtual card.
